All the files are still where I put them in the common/wt/sound folder with PCSM in the name so I believe the launcher updated the sounds.fev file back to it's original possibly as a method to counteract any cheating (though obviously this isn't a mischievous file.) Once the game started up I went into a test flight with some random US Navy prop plane and it sounded the same as before, I figured it may just be a fluke so I loaded up the G.91YS and much like the other it sounded the same as it did in base game. One more edit, I tried installing it the way I said above but immediately as I opened the WT launcher it began analyzing files and downloading files. Do I just move everything into common/warthunder/sound or should I put it in the directory?
Are you going to eventually sort out sounds for sea/ground units as-well?Īlso I see there's no readme included. Now I can get stoned and feel really immersed.
